Two Mink Coats = Two Heirlooms
One Full Length Coat made into a throw . Measures 48 by 57 inches
One Short Jacket made into a Teddy Bear (Teddy Bear Pattern by: https://www.funkyfriendsfactory.com/) Lining was used for the footpads, inner ears and collar. Button from the sweater was also used on the collar.

.Suzanne's coat was by far my most challenging project yet! When the coat was finally deconstructed, I noticed that the flare around the bottom was exceptionally wide and dramatic. Initially, I planned to use darts to help keep the stripes as straight and consistent as possible, but I realized that doing so would have caused me to lose a significant amount of valuable fur. Instead, I decided to use strips of fur. The real challenge was to carefully continue the stripes in such a way that it looked like a single, continuous line, rather than a patchwork of different pieces. In the end, the throw measured 48 by 55 inches, and the customer also selected a coordinating 18 by 18 inch pillow to complete the set.

Kathy's fur project was a unique endeavor that included one elegant black mink coat and one luxurious brown mink coat. The black mink coat was skillfully repurposed to create the stunning main throw, while the brown mink was thoughtfully utilized to craft a delightful teddy bear and to add a charming border around the main throw. The final dimensions of the throw measured an impressive 58 by 58 inches wide, making it a perfect addition to any living space. The teddy bear, crafted with care, serves as a wonderful companion for the throw, adding warmth and character to the overall project. Teddy Bear Pattern:

Colleen’s beautiful Brown Mink and Fox trimmed coat transformation is truly absolutely stunning! The luxurious Fox fur elegantly ran along the collar and lapel, as well as adorning the sleeves. There was enough of this exquisite Fox fur to beautifully encompass the entire border of the coat. The final measurements of this remarkable piece were 51 by 53 inches. Somehow, I seem to have lost the construction video, but I do have an abundance of lovely photos to showcase the transformation.
