Nancy’s fur project was truly a creative adventure. From just 2 coats and one shawl, I was able to craft 2 cozy throws, 2 bolster pillows measuring 12 by 27 inches with beautifully finished edges, a stylish headband, and matching earmuffs. What made this project even more special was that I incorporated the original linings and monograms from all three fur pieces, giving each new item a unique touch of character and history.

Lynda’s project was truly one of a kind and very unique. The coat had noticeable moth damage scattered throughout, which made it quite challenging. I carefully used a special pet deshedding tool on the coat to gently remove loose fur and fibers. To my great surprise, the tool worked exceptionally well, and I was able to salvage the majority of the fur while skillfully removing some of the bare patches. From this single coat, I managed to craft four beautiful 16 by 16 inch pillows, one 16 by 12 inch bolster pillow, and a charming pair of very cute earmuffs.
